The notifications system is live. Tap the bell icon in the top right of the home screen to open your notification feed. The bell shows a badge count for unread notifications and refreshes automatically every 60 seconds.
You receive notifications for:

| New follower | Someone followed your account |
| Repost | Someone reposted your content |
| @mention | Someone mentioned your @handle |
Notifications appear unread first. Opening the feed marks them as read automatically.
Managing your notification preferences:
Go to Profile → Settings → Notifications to control which events notify you.

Turning off the master Push notifications toggle disables everything at once.
Push notification banners (lock screen alerts) are coming in a future update. Notifications currently appear inside the app only.
