Go to Profile → Settings → Data & Personalization to control how your data influences your experience.
Personalized Feed
When on, the For You feed uses your activity (posts you've liked, accounts you follow, content you interact with) to improve how posts are ranked for you. When off, the feed uses simple recency and popularity only — no activity tracking.
Location-Based Content
When on, the Around You section is active and posts near your location receive a small boost in the For You feed. When off, no location data influences what you see, and the Around You section is hidden.
Analytics
When on, we collect anonymized usage data to improve the app — things like which features are used most and how long screens are viewed. No personal content is included. When off, no analytics events are sent from your account.
Turning off all three is fully supported. The app works normally — your experience will simply be less personalized.
