Community Guidelines

Adrenaline Realm exists because of the passion people bring to it. These guidelines protect that passion — keeping this a place where real enthusiasts can connect, share, and build something worth coming back to.

The Standard

What makes a great Adrenaline Realm member

Great communities don't happen by accident. They're built by people who show up with genuine enthusiasm, treat others with respect, and contribute something real. Adrenaline Realm was built for that kind of member — the person who loves this culture deeply enough to want to see it grow into something better than what exists today.

You don't have to agree with everyone's build choices or share the same taste in machines. What matters is that you engage with curiosity, share your knowledge honestly, and treat every other member as someone who deserves to be here just as much as you do.

Do This

Share authentic content

Post your real builds, real rides, real experiences. Whether it's a first car or a lifelong project, if it's yours and it's real, it belongs here. Progress posts, event recaps, honest reviews, helpful tips — this is the content that makes Adrenaline Realm worth opening.

Do This

Lift the community up

Answer questions you know the answer to. Drop knowledge on specs, builds, and events. Shout out a business that genuinely earned it. Welcome new members. The enthusiast community's best quality is its willingness to help — keep that alive here.

Do This

Be honest about what you know

Misinformation about vehicles can be dangerous — it can lead to bad repairs, unsafe builds, or financial harm. If you're not sure, say so. If you see something wrong, correct it respectfully. Accuracy matters in this community.

Hard Rules

What is not allowed

These aren't suggestions. Any of the following will result in content removal and may result in account suspension or permanent ban, depending on severity and pattern.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that attacks, demeans, or threatens any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic has no place here. This includes slurs, dehumanizing language, and content designed to incite discrimination or violence.

Harassment and Targeted Abuse

Targeting another member with repeated unwanted contact, threats, personal attacks, public shaming, or coordinated pile-ons is harassment. This includes direct messages and public posts. Disagreements are fine — campaigns against individuals are not. If someone tells you to stop contacting them, you stop.

Spam and Unsolicited Promotion

Posting the same content repeatedly, flooding comment sections with promotional material, sending unsolicited DMs about products or services, or using fake engagement to inflate posts is spam. The only businesses permitted to promote on the platform are those that have completed the Verified Business process.

Illegal Content

Content that promotes, facilitates, or documents illegal activity is prohibited. This includes street racing on public roads with intent to endanger, selling stolen parts, unauthorized modifications that violate safety regulations, or any content depicting or encouraging violence. We take these reports seriously and will cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.

Fake Accounts and Impersonation

Creating an account under a false identity, pretending to be another person (public figure or private individual), or operating a bot account is prohibited. This includes creating a second account to evade a ban or suspension. If your account was actioned for a rules violation, the appropriate path is the appeals process — not a new account.

Unverified Business Claims

If you are a business or represent a business, you may not promote services, solicit customers, or post in a business capacity without going through the Verified Business process. This protects both consumers and the integrity of the platform. Attempting to masquerade as a consumer while secretly promoting a business is grounds for permanent removal.

Graphic, Disturbing, or Sexually Explicit Content

Content containing graphic violence, disturbing imagery, or sexually explicit material is not permitted. This platform is for enthusiasts of all ages and the content standard should reflect that. Posting crash footage or accident imagery for shock value rather than safety awareness will be removed.

Doxxing and Privacy Violations

Sharing another person's private information — including their home address, workplace, phone number, or personal details they have not made public — without their consent is a serious violation. This applies regardless of the person's behavior on or off the platform.

Enforcement

How we handle violations

We review every report we receive. Our approach is measured — we don't reach for the harshest response for minor first-time violations, but we also don't hesitate when the severity demands it. Here's how enforcement typically works:

1
Content Removal

Violating content is removed. For minor first violations, this may happen without any additional action beyond the removal itself. You may receive an in-app notice explaining what was removed and why.

2
Formal Warning

For first-time or minor violations, a formal warning is issued. Warnings are recorded on your account. Accumulating warnings signals a pattern that escalates consequences.

3
Temporary Suspension

Repeated violations, a single serious violation, or a pattern of borderline behavior results in a temporary suspension. During a suspension, you cannot post, comment, or interact with the platform. Suspension length depends on the severity of the violation.

4
Permanent Ban

Severe single violations (harassment campaigns, hate speech, illegal content, doxxing) or a history that demonstrates a pattern of harmful behavior results in a permanent ban. All associated accounts and devices may be restricted. Permanent bans can be appealed once.

Some violations are severe enough that we skip the graduated process entirely and proceed directly to suspension or ban. These include posts containing illegal content, threats of physical harm, and doxxing.

Reporting

How to report a problem

Every post, comment, and profile on Adrenaline Realm has a report option accessible through the menu (three-dot icon on mobile). When you submit a report, please select the category that best matches what you're reporting and include any additional context that helps us understand the situation.

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 to 48 hours. For reports involving imminent physical danger, please contact emergency services (911 in the US) before or in addition to reporting through the app. We cannot guarantee a response fast enough to prevent a real-world emergency.

All reports are handled confidentially. We do not reveal who submitted a report to the person being reported.

If you believe you've witnessed activity that violates our guidelines but needs more detailed context than the in-app reporting form allows, you can email us directly at safety@adrenalinerealm.com.

Appeals

Appealing a moderation decision

We make every effort to get enforcement decisions right, but we're a small team and we acknowledge that mistakes happen. If you believe content was removed in error, or that your account was suspended or banned unfairly, you have the right to appeal.

How to appeal

Submit your appeal via email to safety@adrenalinerealm.com with the subject line "Moderation Appeal." Include your account username, a description of the action taken against your account, and a clear explanation of why you believe the decision was made in error. If you have supporting context or evidence, include it.

What to expect

Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the one who issued the original enforcement. We aim to respond to all appeals within 5 business days. Appeals decisions are final — we do not re-review a decision that has already gone through the appeal process.

Scope of appeals

Appeals are available for content removal decisions, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans. Decisions made following a first-time content removal without any accompanying account action are generally not subject to the formal appeals process — if you believe a specific piece of content was incorrectly removed, contact support.

We're building this together.

Adrenaline Realm is still early. These guidelines will evolve as the community grows. If you have feedback on how we handle any of this — what's working, what isn't — we genuinely want to hear it. Reach out at safety@adrenalinerealm.com.
