Tap the + (plus) icon in the center of the bottom tab bar to open the post composer.
Steps:
- Tap the + tab
- Select Post from the type options at the top of the composer
- Tap the media area to choose photos from your camera roll, or take a new photo
- You can add up to 10 photos per post
- Photos are automatically resized and optimized before uploading — no editing needed
- Write your caption (up to 2,200 characters)
- Add hashtags — type
#and the app will suggest relevant tags - Optionally tag a location
- Adjust your post settings (audience, comments, reposts)
- Tap Share to publish
What happens when you tap Share:
Your photos are first uploaded to our secure media servers. Once the upload completes, the post metadata (caption, hashtags, settings) is saved to our database and the post appears in the feed. This two-step process ensures your media is reliably stored even on slow connections.
Post Settings
Before publishing, tap the settings icon in the composer to adjust:

Public posts appear in the For You feed for everyone. Followers only posts are visible only to your followers.
